Private Playground: A Day Out with Cameron

My son and I took Cameron, our miniature dire wolf (or, you know, just our dog), to a private dog park we booked through the Sniffspot app. It was peaceful, safe, and completely fenced-in, which meant Cameron could run free—and run he did.

I didn’t bring a DSLR that day. I wanted to challenge myself with just my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, shooting in RAW and editing exclusively in Snapseed. I leaned into natural light, quick bursts, and candid movement to see how far I could push mobile photography.

The result? A handful of images that feel real. No filters or presets, just honest moments of a happy dog in his element.
